Proverbs 16:7 When a man’s ways are pleasing to the LORD, He makes even his enemies😠 to be at peace🕊️ with him.

Background:

In today’s world we face lot of hostile situations. The hostility may arise at home🏡 as well as in the community.🌇 In such situations, we are overwhelmed. We don’t know what to do!😟 Today’s scripture reading will throw some light💡 on how to prevent such situations in future.

Interpretation:

In today’s verse we are given an amazing fact. The proverb says that, “When God is satisfied with someones course of life and character, God will cause his hostile opponent to be at peace with that person.” Isn’t it wonderful. We would love to have such a situations, where all the hostile people transformed into friends.

Lessons:

(1)Mind your course of life and character, (2) God is observing us, 👁️👁️ (3)He will cause hostile people to be your friend (conditional).

Application:

Don’t you have any enemies! Wonderful, this means that God has transformed all your enemies into friends. But if you are facing hostility, then you have to pray about it. May God help us to mend our ways so that the truth which is written in the scripture may be true in our real lives.

Illustration:

Many people came to a arrest Lord Jesus but when they saw his life and heard his words, they left without arresting him. [John 7:46 The officers answered, “Never has a man spoken the way this man speaks.”] They were transformed into friends.

Prayer:

Dear Lord Jesus, I believe that you can do marvelous things in my life. You can cause hostile people to be my friends. Help me Lord to change my life and transform me into the image of your dear son.
