Generosity of words

Welcome back to the daily Bible Bytes. I hope you are enjoying these bytes. 😊🙏

Today we are going to discuss about, “How we can be more generous with our words.” WordPress is providing us lot of opportunities to be generous with our words.

Words have power

Proverbs 15:4 A soothing tongue is a tree of life, But perversion in it crushes the spirit.

Words have power to make or break. With our words we can comfort those who are at discomfort.

Right words at right time

Proverbs 15:23 A man has joy in an apt answer, And how delightful is a timely word!

Right words at right time can bring lot of relief. How pleasant it would be if we all could choose to speak right words for the occasion.

Generous with words

Let us not be so silent. Let us be more generous with right words. We need words of encouragement. We need words of wisdom. Words of appreciation. Words to cheer up our spirit.

There is a strong connection between us and our words. Our words reveal our personality and nature as well.

God’s own WORD

God also communicates with us through his own words. God created universe through his words.

John 1:14 And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us, and we saw His glory, glory as of the only begotten from the Father, full of grace and truth.

Jesus is the WORD of God who took up our nature to communicate with us.

Appreciation

So be more generous, let us shower others with lovely words of appreciation. Load everyone with praise, you will make their day.

No one has fallen short of words of appreciation if he or she chooses to do so.

Thanks for reading my few words. God bless you. With lots and lots of words.

This is Nitin signing off. 😀👋

  1. Living Intentionally

I agree as the words we think along with those we choose to use not only effect our internal realm, but the environment and atmosphere in conversations we engage in. Very useful and vital post for us to consider how we are using language and words in our everyday world.
