Rejoice! Rejoice!

I am always amazed by the personality of Apostle Paul. Apostle Paul suffered so much for the sake of gospel of Lord Jesus Christ.

He wrote his own blog posts (Epistles πŸ˜‡). He wrote fantastic spiritual treasures through his own letters. He was imprisoned so many times. In those days the prisons were not like today’s modern prisons, they were stinking dungeons.

If I were to be lodged in such kind of place, I would have never been able to think anything else apart from freeing myself from such horrible place.

The worst situation of the prison cell could not dampen the jubilant spirit of Paul. He wrote to Philippians, “Rejoice, rejoice.”

Philippians 4:4 Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice!

Philippians were outside in open totally free people but had no Joy whereas Paul was in chains⛓️ yet full of joy. What brought him so much joy? πŸ€”πŸ€”

Paul had understood the secret source of joy. His joy was not based on his present situation. Something which is based on happenings is happiness. For example, if someone likes⭐ πŸ‘ this post, then I am happy πŸ˜€ otherwise I will be sadπŸ˜πŸ˜€. I am joking.πŸ˜‚ Please don’t misunderstand, I am not writing so that you must like my posts. πŸ˜‡πŸ™

His joy was based on something unchanging. Yes his joy was clinched to his relationship with the Lord. He had this great sense of belongingness to the Lord. He never had an orphan like feelings. He knew whom he had believed upon.

2 Timothy 1:12 For this reason I also suffer these things, but I am not ashamed; for I know whom I have believed and I am convinced that He is able to guard what I have entrusted to Him until that day.

He always has had a complete consciousness of the presence of his Lord Jesus with him. Sadness would come only when he saw sin in and around. Persecution could not make him feel sorry. Persecution could not cause a dent on his heart.❀️

What is your state of feelings? Are you rejoicing in the Lord? Check your feelings? I know some people don’t like to trust their feelings! (This is my own perspective, you are free to differ). But our feelings do help us to make decisions. Paul instructed Philippians to choose to rejoice in the Lord.

Today we write blog posts in our own comfort zones. Paul may have had to battle rats, cockroaches, mosquitoes and I am not sure what else. Yet his epistles are incomparable and full of spiritual riches.

May God take away sad spirit and revive the supernatural joy of the Lord within us. Hallelujah πŸ˜€πŸ™‹β€β™‚οΈπŸ™Œ

Sending you this message with lot of loveπŸ€— and blessings.πŸ˜‡βœ‹ Be blessed in the name of Jesus Christ. Shalom to all my readers.πŸ˜‡πŸ™πŸ•ŠοΈπŸŒΊ
