A still small Voice

1 Kings 19:11-12 KJVS
And he said, Go forth, and stand upon the mount before the Lord . And, behold, the Lord passed by, and a great and strong wind rent the mountains, and brake in pieces the rocks before the Lord ; but the Lord was not in the wind: and after the wind an earthquake; but the Lord was not in the earthquake: [12] And after the earthquake a fire; but the Lord was not in the fire: and after the fire a still small voice.

This is an account of encounter Elijah had with Jehovah God. God had commanded Elijah to stand on the mount before the Lord. When Elijah reached that particular mountain God caused great manifestations.

There was a great wind but God wasn’t in the great wind. There was an earthquake but God wasn’t in there either. There was a great fire but God wasn’t in there as well. So where was God of Elijah?

God came as a small still voice. Have you had such an amazing experience? God wants to communicate with you. He chose to communicate with you and me through this small little voice directly in our hearts.

If God has spoken with a thunder we would have got fainted. But God knows which tone and volume is comfortable to our mortal ears.

Hebrews 1:2 KJVS
Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;

In these last days he is still speaking through his son, Jesus Christ. May God enable us to hear what God has to say to each one of us.

May you feel encouraged through this post. God bless you. Shalom dear friend from Bible blogger.πŸ˜€πŸ•ŠοΈπŸ™
