Xerophthalmia

Xerophthalmia is a medical term for dry eyes. It’s a medical condition which can affect vision of the victim.

Isaiah 25:8 NASBS
He will swallow up death for all time, And the Lord GOD will wipe tears away from all faces, And He will remove the reproach of His people from all the earth; For the LORD has spoken.

Revelation 21:4 NASBS
and He will wipe away every tear from their eyes; and there will no longer be any death; there will no longer be any mourning, or crying, or pain; the first things have passed away.”

He touched me

When I read these words, I was touched. God is personally going to wipe my tears.

Importance of tears

We all are aware of the importance of tears. Usually tear drops are always present in our eyes. We don’t notice these drops because it is secreted in tiny quantities. When someone is crying aloud or emotionally charged then the lacrimation is profuse.

Essential tears

Without tears our eyes will be damaged beyond repair. Tears lubricate and keep our eyes moisturized. Tears are essential for normal eye function and vision.

No tears in heaven

I used to always think that in heaven I won’t be crying and there won’t be any tears in my eyes. But the word says God will wipe away every tear from my eyes. That implies that tears will come but no worries, God is going to wipe every one of them with his own loving hands.✋

Great joy

This thought brings great joy to me as we live in a world where people are not bothered about others tears but only concerned about their own. We are waiting for another world made by God’s hands.
