Can you imagine this?πŸ˜²πŸ‘‡

Imagine

“Can you Imagine?” This a very common phrase. I am not asking you to imagine anything!πŸ˜…. What I am saying is that Imagination is an important part of our personality.

No imagination

Can you imagine a world without imagination. How boring it would have been. As a kid, me, my brothers and cousins would often ventured into our own imaginary world. We used to have lot of fun fantasizing about something we imagined which never existed.πŸ˜†

How important is our imagination power? Often we neglect our imagination because it can never become true. There is a big difference between reality and Imagination.

Imagination power

A person with great sense of Imagination coupled with creativity can achieve greater heights. There are many wonderful people out there who have excellent imagination power and have become literary giants.

Invention

Someone imagined that someday we will fly the sky and it led to the invention of aeroplane.

God’s views

What does God has to say about human imagination? You will be shocked to read.

Genesis 6:5 KJVS
And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.

Shocked

I was equally shocked to learn this. In another place He reveals something more.

Genesis 8:21 KJVS
And the Lord smelled a sweet savour; and the Lord said in his heart, I will not again curse the ground any more for man’s sake; for the imagination of man’s heart is evil from his youth; neither will I again smite any more every thing living, as I have done.

From youth

This is the state of fallen human race. The imaginations are deranged from our youthful days.

Example

Do you need example of youthful imagination?

Matthew 5:28 TPT
However, I say to you, if you look with lust in your eyes at the body of a woman who is not your wife, you’ve already committed adultery in your heart.

Need for remedy

What is the remedy for the correction of wrongful imagination. Read below.

2 Corinthians 10:5 KJVS
Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;

Key

Obedience is the key to rearrange our imaginations in right direction.

Example

Let me give you the example of how God uses our imagination. I would like to mention something which happened in my life.

My experience

There occurred an opening at one health care centre due to superannuation of a staff member. I suddenly developed a strong imagination that I am deputed to that place as a head of the unit and I happened to renovate this particular place.

Realisation of imagination

To my surprise my boss gave me an invitation to take over the responsibility of that particular place. I gladly accepted. I worked at that place for long period of time and managed to refurbish that place. I am really grateful to the Lord what he achieved in that place. That health turned out to be a blessing to many.

It was amazing experience. God gave me a vision to me. I could see the vision with both eyes open. Still today the staff members from that health care centre remember me. Many people remember what we accomplished at that place and time.

Ponder over

What are you using your own imagination? Let not Satan use your imagination for filthy things. Invest it for godly cause.

God bless you with these thoughts.

  1. Excellent post! I agree we do need to be careful with our imaginations – I can certainly vouch for that! I especially liked what you said about being creative with our imaginations and how it can lead to great things.

  2. Amen! We must guard both what we allow ourselves to see and to hear. Praise God that we have the power to cast down every imagination they exalts itself the knowledge of God. Another powerful post, thank you. Have a great weekend. 😊
