A question
Can we achieve end of the end? It is the most difficult task to achieve. To end the end we should know the end from the beginning. Oh! You didn’t get me. Let me explain.
Example
Suppose you want to avoid a terrible accident on the road. You can completely avoid it if you knew about it beforehand. But in the real world this doesn’t happen. Accidents do happen and people do die tragically.
Death
In today’s topic, I am referring to death as the end. The human life is ironic. When we are born, everyone is rejoicing except the newborn baby. The baby enters into the world with crying. When we die, everyone else is crying except the dead. The dead is not interested in any kind of affairs of this world. It simply doesn’t make sense to the dead. As if it is saying I have nothing to do with this world now onwards. I don’t care about this world.
It doesn’t matter
However much people cry, it has no effect on the dead. The dead person is no longer called by his name. He is referred as a “body.” The reason is that the person’s spirit has left the body. The spirit has set out on the eternal abode leaving behind the mortal part.
Jesus wept
So how can we defeat the death? No one has ever won the battle against death. Jesus wept.(John 11:35) When Lazarus died, Jesus wept. Death is a tragic reality. We all know for sure that anyone who is born in this world is surely going to die.
No guarantee
Every item manufactured in the world had date of manufacture and expiry. Human beings are the only one product which comes without a date of expiry and guarantee. You can never speculate the lifespan of any human being.
Life expectancy
The governments all around the world are always striving to increase the life expectancy of their citizens. The country with higher life expectancy is credited as a successful country.
John 11:25-26 NASBS
Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life; he who believes in Me will live even if he dies, [26] and everyone who lives and believes in Me will never die. Do you believe this?”
Jesus claims
What a statement! I have never read something like this about death. Jesus said I am the resurrection and life. As we all know that Jesus was crucified, buried and He rose again from the death. This is resurrection. He has defeated the death.
The Beginning of end
I am glad that Jesus Christ has started the fight against death. If he could defeat the death. We all can defeat it.
1 Corinthians 15:26 NASBS
The last enemy that will be abolished is death.
The last enemy that would be destroyed is death. That will be the true end of end.
Hebrews 2:15 NASBS
and might free those who through fear of death were subject to slavery all their lives.
Remember that fear of death produces slavery. So let us overcome this fear by the grace of God.
God bless you and encourage you with these words. Sending with love. π
