One of the things God hates! 😲

Hate list

There are many things which God hates. For example, please read the scripture quotes.

Proverbs 6:16-19 NASBS
There are six things which the LORD hates, Yes, seven which are an abomination to Him: [17] Haughty eyes, a lying tongue, And hands that shed innocent blood, [18] A heart that devises wicked plans, Feet that run rapidly to evil, [19] A false witness who utters lies, And one who spreads strife among brothers.

Seven abominations

There is this list of seven things mentioned which God hates. These are in fact are disgusting to the Lord. He can’t stand these things. The above list is quite straightforward.

Important thing

There is one more very important matter which God hates. Any guesses? Oh yes. You got it. Please see below.

Malachi 2:16 NASBS
For I hate divorce,” says the LORD, the God of Israel, “and him who covers his garment with wrong,” says the LORD of hosts. “So take heed to your spirit, that you do not deal treacherously.”

God hates divorce

These are strong words coming from the Lord. God doesn’t like divorce. We human beings if given liberty we will go for divorce for any trivial reason.

The divorce rates vary from country to country. But it appears that divorce rates are on the rise. This is an unhealthy trend.

Mark 10:9 NASBS
What therefore God has joined together, let no man separate.”

Don’t separate

Jesus Christ said that the marriage is an union created by God. No one should disintegrate this union between husband and wife.

May God help husbands and wives to work together towards preserving this holy union till the end of their lives. This is the will of God for the couples.

Hebrews 13:4 NASBS
Marriage is to be held in honor among all, and the marriage bed is to be undefiled; for fornicators and adulterers God will judge.

The most honorable

Marriage is highly esteemed among all cultures around the world. This the institution formed by God.

May God help everyone to maintain its sanctity of marriage as an institution for the safety of the future generations.
