πŸ˜‹πŸ‹πŸŒπŸ₯Which is your favourite fruit?πŸŽπŸ“πŸ‡πŸ˜‹

Fruits

Fruits are the most important part of balanced diet. It is recommended in large quantities after the whole grain cereals and pulses. It is said that, “an apple a day keeps doctor away.”

Favourite fruit

We all have our favorites fruits. I am a great fan of fruits. I love all of them. I love the seasonal and locally grown fruits. They are yummy. πŸ˜‹ But some people are fussy about fruits. The never generation has aversion towards fruits. Their taste buds are destroyed by the greatest enemy. This greatest enemy is sugar.

The Adams

Amazing thing is that our first parents Mr and Mrs Adams ate fruits in their first home in the garden of Eden. They had the most beautiful home in that wonderful place. They could eat fruit any tree except for one.

Blame game

I have always blamed both our parents for making a wrong choice!πŸ˜₯ They have had multiple choices to make. There must have been thousands of trees with medicinal properties from which they could have made the best choice.

Genesis 2:9 NASBS
Out of the ground the LORD God caused to grow every tree that is pleasing to the sight and good for food; the tree of life also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.

Misunderstanding

I always thought that the tree of knowledge of good and evil was the most attractive. I was wrong, in fact each and every tree in the garden was pleasant and good for food.

Attractiveness

What made the tree of knowledge of good and evil more attractive? It’s the command which forbade it’s consumption made it more interesting than others. They were tricked by Satan to think that God was robbing them of some great pleasure. Their curiosity made them to go after the forbidden fruit.

Missed opportunity

They totally missed out on the tree of Life. It appears like they didn’t even have one fruit of the tree of Life. The rest of the story we are all aware of. They lost everything. The fruit of the tree of knowledge of good and evil gave them knowledge but also brought curse, pain and slow death.

Distraction

The fruit of tree of Life would have given them life forever. The enemy of their lives distracted them to something which deprived them of their peace and fellowship with their loving father God.

A Question

I want to pose a question to all of us. What would have been your choice between the fruits? Would you choose the fruit of tree of Life or tree of knowledge of good and evil? Think about it.

Probable answer

I believe we would have chosen the fruit of the tree of knowledge of good and evil over tree of Life. Let me illustrate my point. What do you read the Holy Bible for? Do you read to gain knowledge? Or do you read it so that you will have life eternal?

Your choice

If your answer is yes to the first question then it’s like making the choice of fruit of knowledge. If your answer is yes to the subsequent question that implies that you are looking for life transformation through the analytical study of scripture.

Pro-life

Dear friend, let us examine our hearts intentions. May God help us to be pro-life. Make it a point to choose things pertaining to eternal life.

Amen. The fear(ultimate respect) of God is the beginning of Wisdom. The eye is led to the outer beauty which is found ugly in the light of day. If we are God’s children, the Spirit leads us to inner beauty, where the dark cannot touch. Ty

  2. Very good post! I had never really noticed that Adam and Eve were not forbidden from eating from the Tree of Life. I read the Bible for knowledge, but also to try to change me life and to have time with Yah.
