Thus you shall say to the impatient……..

This message is more applicable to me than anyone else. I confess that I am an impatient person. I would expect instant answers to my prayers and got easily disappointed when things didn’t work according to my way.

I am impatient with myself when I make mistakes. I am impatient with my spouse and children when they make errors. I am quick to complain and judge them.

I am not sure how many people are there, who have similar problem. To such impatient person the Lord has a message. He says, “Be patient with everyone.” This is so difficult task. We have to be patient. Start being patient with yourself and then extend this grace to everyone else.

Over the years, the Holy Spirit has been working in my heart, He is blooming flowers of patience within me. I am able to be patient with everyone but not all the time. But I am confident that one day I will be as patient as Lord is. He is always patient towards me and tolerates me.

We need to be patient till the Lord Jesus Christ returns. Have a patience filled today. Shalom.

1 Thessalonians 5:14 NASBS
We urge you, brethren, admonish the unruly, encourage the fainthearted, help the weak, be patient with everyone.

James 5:8-9 NASBS
You too be patient; strengthen your hearts, for the coming of the Lord is near. [9] Do not complain, e brethren, against one another, so that you yourselves may not be judged; behold, the Judge is standing right f at the door.
