Joseph, Thus you shall call His name……..

When Joseph heard that his fiancee was expecting a baby, he decided to divorce her secretly. That was a righteous decision he was contemplating.

God was very kind to both of them, He sent an angel to intervene. He prevented Joseph from making this blunder.

Angel told him that this baby is conceived by the power of the Holy Spirit. “Do not be afraid to take Mary as your wife. She is going to deliver a Son.” The angel said.

You shall call His name Jesus (Yeshua in Hebrew) which means Yehovah is salvation. This little baby will “save His people from their sins.”

This child will eventually die for the salvation of all people of the world. He will save them from the penalty of their Sin. What a glorious prophesy it was before this baby could come into the world. Dear friend, Rejoice because of the first Christmas which took place more than 2000 years ago.
