It was a difficult moment for Mary, there was no place for her to deliver her baby. She delivered her firstborn Son (Jesus) and laid Him in a manger. He didn’t even have a decent cradle.
During the first Christmas, no one lit a star, there weren’t any fancy decorations. Mary and Joseph weren’t wealthy people. The savior began his journey in such a humble manner. He wasn’t ashamed to be born in a stable.
Jesus could have chosen the best palace to be born, but He chose to be born in a stable.
The birth of Messiah was heralded by the angel of God to shepherds. In those days, the shepherd community was most despised. Such despised people were the first to know the birth of the savior. They even heard Christmas carols first time from the angels from heaven.
This news was not to be kept secret rather it was to be shared with all the people of world.
The birth of Christ Jesus brought a great Joy for the world. Dear friend, are you rejoicing in the birth of your saviour, who is Messiah.
Luke 2:10-11 NASBS
But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid; for behold, I bring you good news of great joy which will be for all the people; [11] for today in the city of David there has been born for you a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.
I wish a blessed Christmas to all.
