My take on mistakes is that they are hands on wisdom of what not to do, sins you commit with or without wanting to, and that they provide more insight into character seeing what you do afterwards. Confess and repent shows contrition and thus godly wisdom. Repetition shows pride and ungodly foolishness. Just my thoughts. πβ€

Wow. Thanks Tonya you have done a great job. You have brought in the most important spiritual perspective. Definitely, sins are our mistakes. We have to be very careful, not to repeat them. I appreciate your valuable comment and contribution to this discussion. God bless you.

Mistakes are one of the most powerful ways that we can grow and mature, provided weβre willing to look back and prayerfully seek out the (often painful, but always instructive) lesson.

Wow. This is a powerful insight. Yeah, we should learn from our mistakes, sometimes we can teach and guide others through our painful experiences. We should be willing to remember them not to repeat same errors. Thanks for adding to this discussion. God bless you dear friend. I appreciate your valuable time and comment.

God bless you, Bible Blogger! Trust me – Iβve made plenty of painful mistakes and have been trying to extract the lesson from each one, whenever possible. Itβs not always easy (or even desireable at times), but reflecting on what God has taught me through the hard seasons of life has always proven to be a wise and valuable endeavor. βοΈ

A mistake is good….if I remember, and do not make the same one again. Then it is a learning experience.
A sin is not good….and hopefully a sin will not be repeated, or repeatedly repeated…..that is when a Brother or Sister needs to give a call, and say βLetβs talkβ.
Thank you for the quote.

With mistakes, I think that we shouldn’t get caught up on all the mistakes we make, and instead turn the mistakes into learning curves as they certainly are. I’m still learning to do that, though.

Why should we be so concerned about our mistakes? God/Yah still loves us, and sometimes what we think are mistakes are actually Yah/God bringing something better than what we planned along.

So true. We are not looking forward to mistakes, we should be looking forward to avoid them as much as possible. Good one Rachael. Thanks for contribution. Yah bless you.

So true. God allows us to make mistakes so that we can learn from them. We shouldn’t be careless in repeating same mistakes again and again. Anything done once is called as mistake, whereas something done repeatedly becomes a habit. Thanks dear Rachael for extended discussion. I am amazed at the amount of discussion generated by this post. ππ
