Blogging tip of the day #3: Audience

You should be mindful of your audience. Every blog post is noticed by someone. It’s vital to keep your audience at the center, while writing. Ask yourself, “Will this help my audience.”

Inspirational Bible quote:

Revelation 2:1,7 TPT
Write the following to the messenger of the congregation in Ephesus. The one whose heart is open let him listen carefully to what the Spirit is saying now to all the churches.

This letter was sent to the elders, the church members and everyone whose heart is open. Did you notice the audience of this message?

    1. No ma’am. You have never done it. I am trying to implement what I recently learnt from my online course. I was taught how to improve my writing. I am sharing what I have learnt. Please do not misunderstand me. I have no one person in my mind. It’s a general guidelines I am trying to build for novice users. Thanks for your valuable feedback. I always look forward to your comments. It’s always pleasure to read your reply. God bless you. You are my blessing. I am not flattering. 😄

  1. Totally agree! The blog is for the recipient. With each blog I write/post, I pray that God will place it in front of someone who needs the encouragement or teaching or prayer. Nice Bible verse to back up your point. Blessings!

  2. It’s important to think about what the audiences like. I just post what I like on my blog – the audience seems to like it all the time. Except for “The Inside Job” Chapter 7 – I’ve only gotten 12 likes in 7 days.

    1. Yes Rachael. You have a different genre of writing. Specific type of crowd will be interested in your work. So keep writing. Don’t worry about the number of likes. This 12 someday will become 120. Have faith. I like your writing style. It’s unique. Thanks for resonating with the idea. Yah bless you.

  3. Reblogged this on craig's thoughts and commented:
Thanks for the follow *, as the reason I write is to share.
    * (Though my family and close friends say it would be far more entertaining with a video-camera # in “real life”, rather than in cyberspace!)
    # By the way, do they still make them in today’s ever-faster changing world..or is it all done with mobile phones?
(get with the times now,”luddite”* c – it should be a smart phone)
    * or so I was often called by my “my techno-geek” friend, Bill (“the gonk”)
“total non-techno” c (who doesn’t possess a mobile phone, after a rather eventful’ experience some years back, whilst trying to walk, talk and chew gum at the same time)
    Who says men can’t multi-task!
    Kind regards
