Being content is valued quality. Being content doesn’t mean you possess everything. It simply means that lack of something doesn’t bother you.

Inspirational Bible quote:
Philippians 4:11-12 NKJV
Not that I speak in regard to need, for I have learned in whatever state I am, to be content: I know how to be abased, and I know how to abound. Everywhere and in all things I have learned both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need.
My comment:
Paul was an apostle of Jesus Christ. He learned how to be content when he has or does not have material things. Jesus Christ taught him this great lesson.
How do you deal with discontentment? Please feel free to share your thoughts.
Thanks for sharing! I guess learning to appreciate the blessings we already have helps. Sometimes we want more, and I’m not saying that’s bad, but when we focus too much on that and less on what we have we become discontent. God is good and He’s always providing for our needs which I think is sufficient.

This verse helps me.
She’ol and destruction are not satisfied;
So the eyes of man are not satisfied.

This passage too.
“Do not worry then, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For all these the nations seek for. And your heavenly Father knows that you need all these. But seek first the reign of Elohim, and His righteousness, and all these shall be added to you.”

Amen 😇👍. Whatever we have is the gift of God. Nothing we brought and nothing will take. So, why to be discontent. Nothing actually belongs to us. We are just stewards. 😇🙏

Just did a post on proverbs 23:4 “Labour not to be rich: cease from thine own understanding”. We have to be content or we will kill ourselves trying to fulfill our flesh
