Blogging tip # 9: Paragraph

Usually, 100-200 words make a paragraph. Well, this rule can be overruled. Short paragraphs attract more readers. Typically paragraph deals with a single idea. It begins with an introductory sentence and followed by details.

For example.

Matthew 6:14-15 TPT

“And when you pray, make sure you forgive the faults of others so that your Father in heaven will also forgive you. [15] But if you withhold forgiveness from others, your Father withholds forgiveness from you.”

My comment:

This is a small paragraph. The central theme is forgiveness.

You’ve probably noticed I’ve got a very set structure to my devotionals: 4 short paragraphs and a short prayer. I think the total word count is usually around 300 words… Thanks for the post! 🙂
