Life is a sum total of all the decisions we make everyday. We decide on everything, right from the time we are awake at the dawn till we go to bed at night.
We usually don’t like anyone else to decide on our behalf. Even, my little daughter doesn’t like it when we try to push our choices.
But when big decisions are to be made we don’t rely on our own opinions. We definitely consult an expert. For example, when someone has to make decisions with regards to treatment of cancer. We go by the decision of doctors. Ultimately, patient makes an informed choice for the treatment.
Proverbs 3:5 TPT
Trust in the Lord completely, and do not rely on your own opinions. With all your heart rely on him to guide you, and he will lead you in every decision you make.
In today’s scripture the author is encouraging his audience. Here is an emphasis on the need to rely upon God for decisions we make. Certain events are beyond human resources, and God knows the future.
For example, if we ask doctor to give the exact time for cancer patient’s survival? The doctor can give the best estimate for the survival. But, eventually He says that only God knows the exact time.
Dear friend, are you confused about tough decisions. Learn to rely completely upon the Lord. He will guide you in all your decision making. In the end, you will have peace when you make right decisions.
God bless you.

All too often we make the big decisions and then we ask God to help us out.. I am definitely guilty of that..

Yeah exactly. We have to wait on the Lord first then move. Don’t move and then ask the Lord to move. πβοΈ
