Titus 3:15 (CJB): All who are with me send you greetings. Give our greetings to our friends in the faith.
Grace be with you all.
Namaste 🙏 India and namaste 🙏 world.
Namaste 🙏 is an Indian way of salutation. We are proud of this. It is a humble way of greeting people.
It has greater meaning than just a way of salutation. As per the Indian cultural belief system, it is an acknowledgement that I am saluting God within a person.
As per the Indian religious philosophy, God is all encompassing being. He is omnipresent and he is within each person. That’s the reason why in India, Naman is prostration to that creator God.
Namaste is derived from the Naman, which is to stoop down to worship God.
The messianic worldview has a different view in this regard. God does abide within a person only after that person invites God in the person of Yeshua Messaih (Jesus Christ).
This person who has accepted the gospel of Yeshua Messaih (Jesus Christ) has now indwelling abode of God of the Bible.
These two differing opinions converge on one aspect that God is the sovereign creator of mankind and we need to honour and salute each other.
Now, coronavirus pandemic has forced us all to shift to namaste 🙏 to keep the virus at bay. So practice namaste for whatever reason you would like do it.
Bottom line is that, keep social distancing to keep yourself safe from Covid-19.
Stay home. Be safe.
In the name of Yeshua Messaih.
