You are forgiven to forgive.

Is it easy to forgive? No not. When was the last time you forgave someone? If you ask me, I don’t remember!πŸ˜’

Do you think that the person who hurt you so bad deserves forgiveness? No! But, let’s change the table. If you were in the place of that person who you. Would you like to be forgiven?

Haha! Now, you would love to be forgiven, am I right?🀷 The truth is that we love to be forgiven but we don’t like to forgive others.

Today I was tested beyond my control. One man was arguing with me about a certain decision I had taken. He was abusive. I dealt with him calmly and patiently. I gave him the reason for that decision making. He was convinced, pacified and we exchanged goodies and phone numbers as well.πŸ˜„πŸ‘

Do you think I should forgive him? 😎

Ephesians 4:32 TPT
But instead, be kind and affectionate toward one another. Has God graciously forgiven you? Then graciously forgive one another in the depths of Christ’s love.

Today’s Scripture encourages me to forgive. I am reminded that God in Christ has forgiven me completely. Similarly, I am expected to forgive.

I have been delivered from unforgiving spirit. We are blessed with the forgiving spirit of God. Be graciously forgiving is a wonderful command of God. Obey it today. 😊✌️

Shalom πŸ•ŠοΈ

  1. Yes, forgiveness takes patience, strength and understanding of how holding grudges is a petty act in the long run. I like to focus on the bigger picture which is why I can take blame, apologize when it’s my mistake and forgive others because they’re as flawed as me. However, it’s difficult for me to forget!

  2. I think it is easier to forgive non-family members than it is to forgive family members. Family is supposed top be in your circle of love, but when you look at the whole family of God, we are all kin. It is hard but we are the ones who feel the peace when we forgive.
