Couple of days ago I had a privilege to listen to a successful infertility expert. He was deliberating on the topic of test tube babies. He is the pioneer in field of test tube babies in our region.

Designer babies

I am sure that everyone knows the meaning of test tube baby. Let me give you a brief description of test tube babies. This is a medical technology wherein a human egg from a female and human sperm from a male partner are retrieved. The sperm in a conducive and sterile environment is injected into the egg in order to fertilize egg in a laboratory settings. The entire process happens outside human body.

IVF

The process is medically termed as In-vitro fertilization (IVF) treatment. This is one of the treatment modality available for infertility. The fertilized egg is allowed to grow in the artificial medium up to less than a week. Then it is transferred to the Womb of the lady.

Low success rate

The chances of developing this egg into a baby is around 30%. There are lot of supporting medications required to be consumed by the woman. In conclusion this is a wonderful scientific development. It is complicated process. It is costly preposition. It requires lots of patience as it riddled with repeated failures.

The first test tube baby

The first test tube baby turned 40 this year. Louise Joy Brown was the first test tube baby born in England on 25 July 1978. It is a one of the important events in the history of mankind.

You may wonder! Why am I telling this to you? You are absolutely correct. This is to remind you about the great truth as regards to our lives. We are made and handcrafted by the maker.

God is that expert who fashions us inside our mother’s Womb.

God is the one who can make our internal and external organs. The scientists haven’t figured out as of now to create the different organs of the baby.

I will give thanks to You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Wonderful are Your works, And my soul knows it very well.

You are the miracle

Yes, I and you my dear friend are God’s amazing creation. We have to be grateful to our creator. He has made us so special. We are the miracle of God.

Be thankful

During this special time of Thanksgiving, will you join me to Thank our creator for this amazing life that he has gifted us. This life may be filled with various challenges however with the help of our savior and creator we can overcome each one of them.
