This is my first humble attempt to pen a poem. I hope you will like it.
You carried me in your
Womb For nine months
You suffered severe pain
To bring me into the world
How can I repay you mom?
You gave me your milk
You took care of me
You washed me
You fed me
How can I repay you mom?
When I cried you cried
You smiled to make me smile
You taught me to walk
You taught me to talk
How can I repay you mom?
You gave your everything
You gave me your time
You gave me your energy
You gave me everything
How can I repay you my dear mom?
I know that your love is priceless
Your life is priceless
You are a blessing and gift of God
You are more valuable than all my wealth
I can’t repay you mom for everything

Unfortunately. Mom doesn’t understand this complicated language. But she knows me before I utter any words. She knows me in and out. Thanks for reading and dropping a line of encouragement. Abundant blessings to you.

I think you could write more! Have you considered put Scriptural concepts into poem form?

Wow! This is beautifully penned. Your mom is so lucky to have you. She’ll be really glad for your gratefulness. A small gesture means so much.m I’m talking as a mom.

Wow. That is beautiful. And your first poem, too! Congrats! I would rather not say on here what I would say to my mother – it’s way too personal for others to read.

No problem Rachael. I know that you have great love for your mom. You can say it directly to your mom. That is the ultimate aim of this post to encourage children to reconnect with moms. Thanks for reading.
